About Shelby Bettinger

Please allow me to introduce myself and give you some insight as to who I am, how I conduct my business, and why I love what I do.

I bring a diverse set of experiences to my practice of real estate. I've worked every angle of customer service imaginable, from inside and outside sales to client services, as well as office management, and have owned my real estate brokerage. What I learned in those years is that I loved helping people. In August of 2015, the thought of leaving my precious newborn for a 40-hour work week was a true turning point in my life, and thus my pursuit of practicing Real Estate began. I knew I had what it took and would not let myself fail, but frankly, I was frightened to consider trading the security of a salaried position for being paid solely on a commission basis. I wanted more than anything to support my family and knew having a budding career while raising a baby was no small feat, but with the unwavering support from my husband and family, I know now that it was the best decision I ever made.

Real estate is not for the faint of heart. I've realized it takes an army to get you to the closing table. What HGTV doesn't show you is the behind-the-scenes efforts in a transaction; from the buyer, seller, broker, agents, lenders, assistants, title company, home inspector, appraiser, and so on. Assembling my army of the best in the business took about a year, but when I found the right members, I was better able to represent clients at an even higher level, knowing the best people to utilize and call upon. I feel more confident than ever that I have the skills and resources needed to manage all of these details for you.

While working together, my goal is for you to get to know me, because truthfully, if we don't know each other, how will you ever trust me with one of the biggest financial moves in your lifetime? I pride myself on open communication and realize that this goes well beyond negotiations and settlement. Whether I am helping you sell or buy, you can expect professional service every step of the way. Throughout my life, not just in my real estate career, I have been taught that the only thing you have at the end of the day is your name and your word, and that if you do things honestly and ethically, those things pay off in the ultimate satisfaction of delivering results. And while any licensed agent can help you, the professionalism I bring to you as a real estate agent is much more than simply placing a sign in the yard.

On the rare occasion that I am not eating and breathing real estate, you will find me with my little boys, Maxx and Warner, and husband Kegan. We love being active and outside and live for bonfires, barbeques, baseball, and our three muttley dogs, Meela, Hank, and Goose-who love to ruin our little piece of real estate heaven.

In my almost 10 years practicing real estate, I have realized that I truly love everything about the business and believe it shows in my enthusiasm for the process. I am honored to handle the details with one of the most important investments of your life and promise to exceed your expectations. I also promise to keep you informed every step of the way.
