Please allow me to introduce myself and give you some insight as to who I am, how I conduct my business, and why I love what I do.
For the last 10 years, I worked for a large corporate company, Verizon. During those years, I learned a great deal about customer service and sales, and genuinely loved what I did. Throughout my time with Verizon, my family continued to grow, as did my workload and hours spent away from my growing family. I found myself needing to decide on my future. My family, being most important to me, deserved a husband and father who was able to enjoy them, not one who was stressed out and rarely home, based on increasing demands and workload.
Verizon’s corporate downsizing came at an ideal time in my life as it provided me with an awesome opportunity to transition to a new career. My sister Lisa Montalvo (along with her husband Mike and son Aaron) has been working in the real estate industry for the last 10 years and I was always fascinated by the business. It seemed like perfect timing for me to transition to a career in real estate. I had already established the critical fundamentals of customer service while at Verizon, now I can put those to use working with my family to help clients buy and sell real estate.
The thing I most want you to know about your experience with me is that I am available whenever you need me. In this process, you are my priority. I am up front, honest, and trustworthy. Integrity is of the utmost importance to me. I will treat you with respect and am fully committed to you in this process, from start to finish. One of the greatest feelings I get when showing homes is watching a client look around and find THE ONE. I have learned early that there is never a need to push anyone to make a decision; you will know when it is the right fit. It is my job to help you find that right fit.
Just a little about me: I am now happily married for 16 years and have five wonderful children. I am proud to work hard so my wife can stay at home to support them. I love sports and played football, wrestled, and threw in track and field in high school. I wrestled in college and also love swimming. Whether it is a pool, river, or beach, most likely you will find me in the water. Needless to say, I am very competitive and like to win. Now that I am a parent, I find myself mostly just encouraging my kids to do what they love and love what they do.
I love to collect toys. Being born in the late 70s, I mainly like to collect older toys such as Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, etc. Sometimes it is challenging, trying to tell my 2-year-old son why he isn’t able to play with a toy because it is worth a great deal of money. I have found that 2-year-olds don’t care much about such things.
Basically, spending time with my family, helping clients buy and sell real estate, collecting toys and playing and following sports are my thing. You should know that when you work with me, you will find that I get along with everyone. I will negotiate for you, fight for you, and most importantly, represent you to the best of my ability, always. The best part of what I do is being able to make clients' dreams of home ownership come true.
